The Preschool at Christ the King was established in 2017 as a ministry of Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas.
We offer classes for children ages two through Pre-K four. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Preschool 2’s and Preschool 3’s, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Pre-Kindergarten 4 year olds.
Our classes provide a low student-teacher ratio with 10-12 children and 2 teachers per class. Our teachers are highly qualified and committed to loving and teaching each child as an image-bearer of Christ. Teachers are certified in pediatric first aid and CPR, and obtain at least 24 hours per year in professional development training and continuing education courses.
We are a licensed by Texas Health and Human Services and adhere to all Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers. We meet all Texas Education Agency Guidelines and follow the Childhood Program Standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
